Set 50 years after the climactic events of the original Red Faction, Red Faction: Guerrilla lets players take on the role of an insurgent fighter with the new Red Faction movement, fighting for liberation from Earth's defense force.

Red Faction: Guerrillas defines the limits of destruction-based gameplay with a huge world, garland-style combat and true physics-based destruction.



Characteristics:

- Use guerrilla tactics, improvised weapons and modified vehicles to lead insurgent attacks on EDF targets.
- Launch attacks based on your own playstyle, take on missions in any order you choose, or engage in destructive activities to weaken the EDF's hold on Mars.
- Use destruction to your tactical advantage by setting up ambushes or chain reaction explosions to attack enemy strongholds and permanently alter the game environment.
- Take advantage of fully dynamic physics-based destruction to improvise on the fly.



- Punch holes in a wall or floor to set up an ambush or escape, destroy a staircase to stop your pursuers or drive vehicles through walls destroyed by explosions.
- Make your way through an ever-changing landscape while improvising battle tactics - mixing playstyles, vehicles, weapons and explosives to defeat the EDF.
- Explore the vast and unforgiving Martian landscape, from the desolate mining outpost of Parker to the glittering EDF capital of Eos.
- Then tear through fully destructible open world environments where EDF forces, Red Faction resistance fighters and oppressed settlers are caught in the crossfire.
- There's nowhere to hide when you put your guerilla fighting skills to the test in a variety of highly destructive multiplayer battle modes.
